I started my first IT position in 1996, and have been working in the industry for over 25 years. Since going pro, I’ve had amazing jobs, terrible jobs, and everything in between. I took a truly non-traditional path to starting my IT career, and I know what it’s like to have professional struggles. I know the uncertainty, the doubt, the shaky self-confidence; I’ve had them all. Still do sometimes. We all do, because we are all human beings, and we all deserve the best our lives and careers have to offer. I take pride in my skills, both as an IT professional and a career coach. I want to walk away from every interaction with my clients knowing that I did my best to help them, so they don’t have to have the same struggles that I did!
When I’m not working on someone’s network or helping someone advance their career, I have one major passion that occupies my free time: Music! I am a trained vocalist, and enjoy singing classic and modern music of all types, particularly rock ‘n’ roll. I’m also learning how to play guitar (always a work in progress!), and I tend to my collection of over 1,000 records, CDs, and digital music. When I’m not playing or listening to music, I’m spending time reading, watching sports, or relaxing with my wife Megan and our three spoiled cats: Ezra, Fresca & Mac.
